I wanted to create my own dark fairytale, starting with the question.
What makes a scarecrow so scary?
From this I developed an idea of a old man who created a scarecrow to help him on the farm, but unfortunately the old man dies, leaving his venerable creation to fend for its self. Inspired my Edward Scissor hands.
In the end this idea was too long and therefore I wanted to condense it down and focus heavily of the theme of revenge, also the morality of:
“Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you.”
