Alice Guzzo is a 2D Animator and an aspiring Visual Development Artist. Born and raised in Merate (North-Italy), she has loved drawing since she was a child. After developing a background in fine art, at the age of 20 she stepped in the Animation world. In 2012 she started on the BA (Hons) Animation Production course at the Art University Bournemouth, graduating in 2015 with the short film “Riflesso”. At the moment Alice has been working as Assistant Junior Animator for the animation studio Lupus Films in London. She is also ceaselessly practicing and refining her art in her free time.
The first intent was to present the universal problem of conformism and loss of ideals from the point of view of a young Italian girl. The story should reflect the condition of the young Italian generations facing the social and economic situation of their country where ambitions and passions are hard to follow. This film’s main purpose is then to remind people that no matter how the situation is, everyone has the choice of changing his own life.
